About me
I’m a California-based label owner, A&R, and curator specializing in Japan - west exchange, speaking Japanese at the JLPT N3 level. I’ve co-founded two Japan-based music labels, built creative and professional teams across the US, EU, and Japan over the last eight years, and directed 500+ digital projects along with several limited-run physical campaigns. My work combines creative and business management.
I'm also the founder of KUU WRLD, a niche music and culture collective with a studio in San Leandro, California. My mission is to build exceptional music collaborations across Japan, California, and the global creative community, and to expand that work into civic and cultural projects that explore how creative expression is shaped by the places we live in.
