About me

I am the Founder and CEO of Kuu Company, a group managing the sub-labels Tsunami Sounds and Urban Japan. I specialize in Japanese media and hold a background in Art History and Japanese language. My professional work includes project management, creative direction, and the development of digital and physical products like CDs, tapes, vinyl, apparel, 3D / game design experiences, and print campaigns. Aside from professional pursuits I am also a music producer and artist, passionate about creating things of all kinds and working with inspiring people and organizations. The Akari Project Series is a long-term initiative exploring the relationship between Japan’s citizens and their cities.
