About me

Creative professional with 10+ years of experience in music curation, project management, and digital and creative strategy. Official curator and founder of Downtown Music's "Lofi Japan" music selection. In 2017, I founded Tsunami Sounds, a music label and producer collective home to an international roster of artists, generating over 40 million catalog streams to date. In 2019, I founded Urban Japan, a label at the intersection of Japanese music & art, environment, and localization. In 2024, I founded The Kuu Company—a music publisher connecting Japanese and Western markets through supplying high-quality music and authentic cultural experiences.

Nariko: Language of Flowers

"Language of Flowers" is a project themed on the rain and features eight artists to create a watery, impressionistic music style. Genesis: The Elucian Story

"The Elucian Story" is the first of the Genesis trilogy; a multimedia project depicting the tale of a future Earth annihilated by a rogue AI creation. The Akari Project Series is a long-term initiative exploring the relationship between Japan’s citizens and their cities. "Sepia Bay" is a compilation of some of the best entries to our beat events over the years, and is also the soundtrack to our official metaverse world, Prism Gardens.
